Intelligent energy. Circular infrastructure.

Make your
energy work
harder.

We connect energy storage, market optimisation and distributed computing to unlock more value from every site.

  • Store energy when prices are low. Use or sell it when it is worth more.
  • Give suitable EV batteries a second life as energy storage.
  • Turn available power into computing services and useful heat.

A useful starting point

What could your
home save?

A home bill-savings estimate for storing solar power or charging a battery at cheaper times. Grid income, computing revenue and heat recovery require a separate site assessment.

Start with your home

Choose your setup, then adjust the figures to match your home.

kWh / year

Slide to adjust, or type the annual grid usage from your bill.

Starting rates are a guide. Use your tariff prices for a closer estimate.

Anything else at home?

We’ll include these in your personalised assessment.

Fine-tune the estimate

Example settings. Used only when exploring a new battery with existing solar. We deduct the export income you would give up.

For an existing solar-and-battery system, this space is excluded from cheap grid charging. 50% is an adjustable assumption.

WHAT IT COULD MEAN FOR YOU

Your battery could
work harder for you.

Store power when it costs less. Use it when you need it.

Your savings estimate will appear here.

Estimated bill savings before service and equipment costs. Subject to your home, tariff and eligibility.

What’s included in your estimate?

Starting figures: 2,700 kWh is a household reference point, not an estimate of a solar home’s grid purchases. The 26.32p daytime starting rate reflects Ofgem’s GB Direct Debit average for October–December 2026. The 9p off-peak figure is an illustrative smart-tariff rate; some specialist tariffs offer this level but have equipment and eligibility conditions. It is not a rate available to every household. Replace both rates with your own. With no off-peak discount, use the same figure in both fields.

References checked 17 October 2026: Ofgem unit rates and an example specialist off-peak tariff. EV charging and heat-pump benefits are not added to this battery calculation; they are included in your assessment request.

Service charges, equipment, installation, maintenance and battery wear are not priced or deducted. Results are not a quote or guarantee. Extra grid income requires a separate eligibility check.

We estimate the benefit of moving electricity to a cheaper time, allowing for energy lost when charging and discharging. The two scenarios use 150 and 300 battery cycles per year, 80% of rated battery capacity and 90% round-trip efficiency. These are modelling assumptions, not measured performance or confidence limits. Power limits, charging windows, seasonality and your actual usage can reduce the opportunity.

We limit energy shifted to 60% of the electricity you currently buy from the grid. For an existing solar-and-battery system, the selected solar reserve reduces the capacity available for cheaper grid charging. We do not count existing solar or battery savings again. If you already charge cheaply, or are unsure, we request a personalised review rather than claim those savings are new.

For solar homes considering a new battery, stored solar is limited by exported electricity, battery capacity and remaining grid demand. We deduct lost export income and charging losses. Any remaining capacity can then be used for cheaper grid charging, so the same capacity and household demand are not counted twice. The annual model cannot determine your actual daily charging schedule.

The result compares the entered setup with your current grid purchases at the usual price entered. It assumes eligible equipment and an available cheaper tariff. Standing charges and other tariff changes are not included. Hardware and service costs need to be included in your personalised assessment before you decide.

Plain-English answers

A little more clarity.

Do I need solar panels, a battery and computers?

No. You can explore one service on its own. Start with the equipment or space you have and the outcome you want.

Can this work at my home?

Solar storage and smarter battery use may suit homes or businesses. Computing needs a separate assessment of the space, electrical supply, internet, cooling and costs.

How much could I save?

Use the savings calculator for an initial guide to battery savings. A personalised assessment needs your actual tariff, usage, equipment and all costs.

Try the savings calculator
What are second-life batteries?

They are suitable used batteries, often from electric vehicles, tested and repurposed to store power for buildings. Condition, safety, warranty and installation requirements still need to be checked.

What will it cost?

The cost depends on your property and the proposed system. We discuss equipment, installation, service charges and the commercial terms before any commitment.
